Homework

Homework will be set each week from Autumn half-term.  This is:

• Reading
• Numberbots/ Timestable Rockstars
• Spelling practice

We may also set optional extras at different times that are topic related.

Please use the class email address if you are experiencing difficulties or need further information.

The most important thing is that your child reads regularly (and gets an adult to sign their reading record book).

PE lessons

PE will be taking place twice each week on the following days.  For this half term, we will be completing lessons in hockey and dance.  If you have shin pads at home, please can your child bring them in for hockey lessons as we have a limited supply in school. Lessons will take place at the following times:

Eggardon: Monday morning (hockey), Friday afternoon (dance).

Please can all children come into school on these days in our school PE kit. 

The PE kit is as follows:

• dark (plain) shorts/joggers/leggings; 

• red, yellow, blue or green t shirt OR a plain, white t shirt;

• spare pair of white socks;

• plimsolls/trainers for outdoor PE;

• school hoodie or sweatshirt.  

Please let the school and the teacher know if your child has any allergies (that we do not already know about) or needs to take any medication.

Remember that your child will need to bring a piece of fruit to school if they wish to have it at break time as fruit is not supplied in Key Stage 2. Please remind your child to bring a coat every day in the winter months.
