On Saturday, these brilliant young people (and their parents) came to Bridport Leisure Centre for the annual tag rugby tournament. Some of them hadn't really played together before: we were glad to have a team to take... and what a team they were! They showed great sporting attitudes, and narrowly missed out on a semi-finals spot. Well done to all of them!
What a week for our cross-country runners!
The team took part in the Colmers Hill running event last Saturday - Niamh, Gracie, Ella P, Skylar, Luke, Vernon, Jonathan and Solly. Everyone did an amazing job navigating the course (and dodging the sheep along the way!). The girls’ team scored a total of 57 points and the boys’ team came second overall with 46 points, narrowly missing out on first place by just one point! A super effort all round - well done, team!
BPS School Council and Junior LSC visited The Book Shop, Bridport today and chose some new books for the school. Bridlit organisers gave us a generous donation, added to a significant discount from the shop. Thank you so much! #bridlit
Year 6 went to Colfox this week and participated in a team-building session with the other local schools.
