Cross- Country at Colmers and Colfox
What a week for our cross-country runners!
The team took part in the Colmers Hill running event last Saturday - Niamh, Gracie, Ella P, Skylar, Luke, Vernon, Jonathan and Solly. Everyone did an amazing job navigating the course (and dodging the sheep along the way!). The girls’ team scored a total of 57 points and the boys’ team came second overall with 46 points, narrowly missing out on first place by just one point! A super effort all round - well done, team!
Another team took part in the Cross Country event at Colfox - Vernon, Luke, Tom, Warren, Niamh, Ella, Gracie, Beaux, Solly, Jonathan, Hugo, Charlie R, Evie, Bella, Lily and Esmie! Everyone did such a fantastic job, especially our Year 5/6 runners, who tackled an impressive 1.4km course! We had so many finish in the top 10, including Lily, Esmie, Hugo, Jonathan, Solly and Niamh! Overall, the Year 3/4 boys and girls team came in second place, and the Year 5/6 girls team finished third! You all showed brilliant sportsmanship, cheering each other on every step of the way. Well done, team!
