Last week, two of our Year 6s represented BPS at a Junior Youth Speaks event at the Council Chambers in Dorchester. They showed our school values of responsibility, integrity and respect and the adults were very impressed with their speech.

We had the best fun EVER putting on the show and we were SO impressed with the children's confidence and enthusiasm; we can't wait to run the club again in the autumn term!

What a great day at the Woodroffe Maths Roadshow for our year 4s!

It was a truly engaging experience, and it was clear how much effort and enthusiasm had gone into planning the activities.

The range of maths activities was fantastic—particularly the dice games, the “count to 100” challenge, and the 'guess the number of sweets' challenge! These activities made maths feel fun, interactive, and accessible for everyone involved.

We were also very grateful for how accommodating and helpful everyone was throughout the morning. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made a real difference and ensured the whole experience was both enjoyable and memorable. And of course, the homemade biscuits were a lovely touch!

We enjoyed dressing up as our favourite characters!

Our futsal team played the final last night... and brought home the trophy again! 

We were thrilled to unveil our brand-new school logo earlier this year! 🏫
